Instructions
  1. On a large serving platter (holiday themed if possible), stack carrot sticks down the middle lengthwise, starting and ending about 1/4 of the way into the tray.
  2. Layer the broccoli on top of the tree trunk in a triangle shape, leaving about 1/3 of the carrot sticks out as the tree trunk.
  3. Place the cauliflower chunks across the bottom of the tray to create a snow covered ground. Break of tiny chunks of cauliflower and sprinkle along side the tree to simulate falling snow.
  4. Cut the top off of the yellow pepper. Cut a flat panel out of the side.
  5. Cut a star out of the flat panel of the yellow pepper. Cut long strips out of the remainder of the yellow pepper – cutting from the opening where the flat panel was cut out. These will be long “strings” that will span over and around the tree to be a string of lights.
  6. Place cherry tomatoes through out the tree to simulate lights or decoration. Wrap the string of yellow peppers around the broccoli tree. Lastly, place the star at the top of the tree.
  7. Serve and enjoy! Pair with a vegetable dip on the side if you’d like.
Recipe Notes
  • Depending on the size of your gathering you may want to cut or prepare some additional vegetables to either re-stock the platter as it gets eaten off or have along side for people to grab as well.
