Green Bean and Ham Saute (AIP)
Garden fresh veggies lightly sauted with a the slight saltiness of ham chunks bring your mouth to life.

Ingredients
- 1pound Green Beansfresh and trimmed
- 1/2 Red OnionChopped
- 1cup MushroomsChopped
- 2cups Hamcooked, 1″ cubes
- 2tbsp Olive Oilapproximate
- Saltto taste
- Freshly Ground Black Peppercornto taste, if re-introduced
Instructions
- Coat the bottom of skillet with olive oil. Heat over medium heat.
- Add green beans. Drizzle more olive oil over the beans. Season with salt.
- Saute for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add mushrooms and onion and continue to saute for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season again.
- Add ham to the pan. Saute for an additional 5 minutes or until the ham is warm and the vegetables are soft.
- Serve warm.
Recipe Notes
- Asparagus can be substituted for the green beans.
