Green Bean and Ham Saute (AIP)

Garden fresh veggies lightly sauted with a the slight saltiness of ham chunks bring your mouth to life.

- 1 pound Green Beans fresh and trimmed
- 1/2 Red Onion Chopped
- 1 cup Mushrooms Chopped
- 2 cups Ham cooked, 1" cubes
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil approximate
- Salt to taste
- Freshly Ground Black Peppercorn to taste, if re-introduced
Coat the bottom of skillet with olive oil. Heat over medium heat.
Add green beans. Drizzle more olive oil over the beans. Season with salt.
Saute for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add mushrooms and onion and continue to saute for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season again.
Add ham to the pan. Saute for an additional 5 minutes or until the ham is warm and the vegetables are soft.
Serve warm.
- Asparagus can be substituted for the green beans.
