Yes – it’s a Hotdish, not a casserole. I am a Minnesotan – it’s Hotdish up here in the frozen north.
Pizza without a crust. Eat it with a fork with cheesy ooy-gooy goodness. :)
This Hotdish smells just like a pizzeria once it hits that point where it’s perfectly baked together. Such a great smell to fill your house with at dinner time.
- 1 lb Ground Beef browned
- 2 cups Pepperoni slices, cut in half
- 8 oz Egg Noodles uncooked
- 1 cup Red Onion chopped
- 1 Green Pepper chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 32 oz Pizza Sauce
- 8 Tbsp Milk
- 1/4 tsp Freshly Ground Black Peppercorn
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese shredded
- Brown the ground beef.
- Cut the pepperoni slices in half.
- Chop the onion, green pepper, and garlic.
- Mix together all of the ingredients in a deep baking dish reserving 1/4 of the cheese.
- Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes.
- Sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake for an additional 5 minutes.
