Asparagus Sautee (AIP)

This recipe is a great side dish to add to most any meals.  It’s a quick and simple dish to make, and the best part is that serving asparagus seems to make a meal feel so much fancier to many people!  So in minutes you can really impress your family and friends.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Asparagus cut in half
  • 8 medium Carrots cut diagonally
  • 1 cup Mushrooms sliced
  • Olive Oil
  • Sea Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Over medium heat, coat the bottom of a pan with olive oil. Add the asparagus and drizzle with a bit more olive oil and toss to coat evenly. Sprinkle with salt. Sautee for 5 minutes.
  • Add the carrots and another sprinkle of salt. Sautee for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Add the mushrooms and continue to sautee until the mushrooms are golden brown.
